Terms and Conditions

Rates

  • All rates are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated. For payments made in LKR, the applicable exchange rate will be advised on the date of payment.
  • Rates are subject to change in the event of increases in taxes, entrance fees, supplier charges, or due to currency fluctuations. Any revisions will be communicated and applied from the date of implementation.

Payment Policy

  • A 50% advance payment is required upon confirmation of the booking.
  • The remaining balance must be settled 30 days prior to the client’s check-in date.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to arrival: 50% of the total booking value will be charged.
  • Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival: 100% of the total booking value will be charged.
  • Please note that certain tours, entrance tickets, and third-party services may be non-refundable. Any such conditions will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.

Check-in/Check-out Time

  • Standard check-in time: 2:00 PM
  • Standard check-out time: 12:00 PM

Insurance

  • We strongly recommend that all travellers obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical emergencies, and unforeseen travel disruptions.
  • In the event of illness or injury during travel, all medical and hospital expenses will be the responsibility of the traveller.

Passport / Visas

  • Travellers must hold a passport valid for at least six (6) months beyond the date of travel.
  • Visa requirements vary depending on nationality. Please check with your agent at the time of booking if visas are required.

Force Majeure

  • Serenade Isle Travels shall not be held liable for any claims, losses, damages, delays, or additional costs arising from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, government regulations, strikes, civil unrest, or other unforeseen circumstances.
